Aaron Agriculture

There are few options for these kinds of products in the area, so this place is useful. But I do not recommend their potting soil. There are shards of glass in the mix (very few, but you will probably find at least two shards in every bag). They also include dyed mulch in the mix. I can’t throw the soil away in my yard or beds or my kid might get hurting digging. Also, after up-potting my plants with their soil, they are not doing that great (this was before the freeze). I will need to buy new potting soil and redo most of the pots.

This place will rip you off. I went to their place on NW 79th Street and ordered five yards (that's cubic yards) of topsoil to be delivered. The guy shows up the next morning with a flatbed truck (not a dump truck) with a small mound of dirt covered on the bed. I asked him about it, but he didn't speak English very good, so told him to dump it and I'd contact the office. I called and talked to the same girl I ordered it from and told her I was certain this was not five yards. She said yes it was, that they calculate a tractor scoop as a half yard and that they gave me ten scoops. She reminded me that she offered to show me the scoop when I was there buying it, but that I said I didn't need to see it. IT SHOULDN'T MATTER, a cubic yard is a cubic yard, I don't care how big your scoop is! You charged me for five (5) cubic yards. What you delivered is MAYBE three. I calculated the number of yards I needed by determining the square footage area and used an online calculator for 3 inches of coverage. I don't think I'll be able to cover half of what I need to cover. Rip off!

We have been in business 17 years in Miami, we have dealt with several companies in the same channel of trade as Aarons during this time. Aaron is simply the best. I can call in product requests and have it delivered, sometimes even the same day. What gets me is sometimes the owner will drive a delivery all the way to West Palm Beach if necessary! My company Perma Grass USA says: Thank you to Aaron, you're the best!
